As you may have heard, the postal service is having extreme delays in many of the services they offer, particularly with priority mail packages. Unfortunately many small businesses around the country rely on this service and have been negatively impacted by this. This has caused us to ship with other delivery services which are typically more expensive but is the only method we have to ensure we get your items to you in a reasonable amount of time. In response, we have had to tweak a few costs and shipping structures in order to ensure we remain profitable while still servicing our customers close and not so close to home. These are the changes: We have temporarily made "Standard" shipping now called "Snail Mail" to indicate shipping via USPS and there is no guarantee of speed. All orders under $100 have Expedited options that will ship UPS and get to anywhere in the US in a few days. We will keep the $100+ free shipping, but know that there is no guarantee on when you will get your package. Sometimes it can go UPS for the same cost, sometimes not. We have added an Expedited option for $100+ orders that will ensure you get it in a few days. We hate to see this, as this only makes us less competitive and our costs rise just like your costs do as well, but it is the only way to ensure we continue to be proud to ship across the street or across the country in a reasonable time frame. Please hang in there with us and hopefully we can go back to our normal shipping prices as things smooth out with USPS.
With our reopening imminent, we would like to make everyone aware of the policies and changes we will have in effect as we keep everyone healthy and well cared for as we allow customers in store. These are of course subject to change and at our discretion. Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required to enter our store and must remain properly worn. All employees will wear a mask while interacting with customers. If you cannot wear a mask or choose not to, we have the most accommodating set up of any local store that allows you to browse our inventory on our website, place an order for curbside pick up, and call us on arrival for us to run it out to you. We are committed to being able to serve all our customers. If you still don’t feel comfortable entering stores, it’s OK! Curbside will remain and is encouraged for your convenience. Upon entering, you will be required to sanitize your hands. This ensures that surfaces and products remain clean and germ free. If you sneeze, cough, or touch your mask, we encourage you to circle back and resanitize. Gloves will also be available and employees will wear gloves whenever handling trade ins or customer-brought items. There will be a 10 customer limit in the store that will be enforced. If we are currently at capacity we will let you know at the door and ask for you to wait outside or in your car until customers leave. We ask customers to also limit groups entering to two per party to limit contacts and allow other customers to enter. We also ask that you limit your visit to 15 minutes (unless you have trade-ins), again, to allow others to enter and not have to wait. We will not have any play space or tables/chairs for in store play at this time. When we decide to allow in store play it will be announced. We do not want to encourage people congregating at our store until we feel it is safe and responsible to do so. Our bathroom and back of house area remains under construction and will be closed and off limits to customers. Due to Covid concerns there will be no exceptions. Do not touch products unless you have intention to purchase. We regularly sanitize high traffic areas but cannot possibly wipe down everything in the store. Be cautious and mindful of others. We know that these are all rules that we all inherently live by now, but we want to notify our customers through all facets that we are very serious about the health of our employees and customers. We are doing everything we can to ensure we follow guidance, listen to science, and exercise caution in taking our time to maintain a safe environment rather than rush to push against the current restrictions. Thank you for doing your part and for having the patience it will take for us all to get through these odd times together.
We would like to give an update on what we are working towards and give at least a loose timeline of when we will be reopening. When it came to remodeling, one thing just led to another and we went down the rabbit hole... We are redoing a lot. That being said, we are in the home stretch of the work being done and really just waiting on fixtures to come in and some final patching to get done in order to finish up and put things in place. We have a wall built and are in the process of finishing that to give us a larger back of house & repair area. That effectively is making our retail area of the store 1/5 smaller, but the remaining area is exclusively dedicated to retail outside of our reduced size of play space. We should be able to seat 48 when play resumes (not for a good long time) with expansion capacity of around 60 when holding larger events. It did not make sense in the current environment to have seating for 120 and use all of that maybe once or twice a month. This will give us, with proper planning, a manageable play space that will meet our needs while not having so much of our now 5500 sq ft of retail dedicated to empty tables and chairs most days. With 5500 sq ft of floor space, we have also added 2000 sq ft of wall retail space by moving things like our glass cases away from the wall. Our store will now feature retail display around the entire perimeter of the store with double high slatwall, meaning you can find what you need all in one place organized by that hobby without it being cramped for space. We created an enclosed area in the back area of the store with our display cases that gives us a fishbowl of card games with sealed product in the middle. This gives customers more access to product without the need to have to wait for an employee to get freed up to get something basic like sleeves and binders. This also frees up employees to help customers during check out and for recommendations rather than standing awkwardly while someone decides what color of Dragonshields they want. There's a lot we can continue to list, but we will give updates as we get closer to everything being completed. Mason will be sharing more info over the next few days as we expect progress to pick up very quickly. Join our store discord at https://discord.gg/akmdSeG and be sure to join the CNA Community Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/CNAGCommunity/ to keep in touch and join in voice chats with him announced soon. We'd really like everything to be ready by 4th of July weekend, but we are not going to rush the process. Until then, we continue to be here for you for all the new releases and our ever expanding offering through our website. Please continue to reach out to us and we can't wait to see you all back in our remastered store when it is ready.
What a time to be a Magic player... We are opening preorders for both Core Set 2021 and Double Masters on our website in limited quantities. We have not received final numbers of what we are being allocated on some of these products, so what we have for offer is our safest numbers we can currently list. We also would like to announce a new policy for preorders. We are putting in place our Preorder Price Promise policy on items that are market priced that may fluctuate between preorder windows and their release. If we decide to sell this item below what you preorder it for at the time of release, you'll get the difference refunded back to you in the form of store credit. If an item experiences a rise in price, you remain locked in and your preorder stays at the price you paid. Preorder with peace of mind at Card N All Gaming! https://cardnallgaming.com/collections/all/preorder
We wanted to take a moment and put out an official update on the store and the potential of reopening soon. We want everyone to have at least an idea of what to expect from us as we continue to see how the battle against COVID19 develops. First, we can't predict how the next few weeks will play out. Based on government regulations, we are expected to be allowed to open on May 20. However, being a place that sells product and holds events makes this complicated. For retail, we still don't expect to be open outside of maybe solo customers with masks until June or even into July if we feel it's still not safe for our employees and customers to be in even as large a space as our store. That's why the web store will be so essential to us moving forward. The dream is for you all to be able to view exactly what we have in stock at all times from home. This reduces the amount of contacts in store and if you can do curbside, that will be the preferred way to conduct sales for the foreseeable future. We know a major component about what makes stores like ours so great is the ability to host events. The situation on this front looks pretty bleak. We will not be hosting events until the data reflects the real possibility that we are in the clear and that doing so presents the absolute thinnest possibility of spreading the virus. So long as the face mask recommendation exists we won't be hosting events. We just can't have people together for hours, regardless of face masks, gloves, or personal bubble spheres. Unfortunately there's no way to simulate gathering how our customers did before this, but we can get pretty close by using things like our Discord channel, and by hosting things remotely. We are already doing trial runs of this with some games, with more games joining them in an official capacity soon. Much of this probably isn't very encouraging to you all. Unfortunately this virus RUINS the game store experience everyone is used to. We have to change our business accordingly. We are making accommodations for the real possibility that we can't do events like we had previously - not to the same scale. To do so would be irresponsible. As an employer and an event center, we have to be better and more aware of how we accommodate long length visits where you are in close proximity to others. We personally feel responsible for our employee's and customer's health. It isn't something we take lightly and we refuse to allow any of us to be guinea pigs for how safe it is to be in a store like ours. Finding solutions and new ways to continue providing our same environment is something we look at and search for ideas for constantly. We thank you for continuing to support us through all the changes we've had to make. What has been an extremely stressful time has also been one filled with love and support, and we appreciate those who continue to go out of their way to support us. Doing so has allowed us to adapt and ultimately give you better service than you could find elsewhere online. That's going to be our edge going forward, and we hope that you stick with us as we all try to figure our how to proceed in such unusual circumstances.
